Scan

Page scanner

Scan any public web page and get it back as rendered HTML, clean text, markdown, or JSON of its title, headings and links. Signed in, every option of the scraping API is here, and you can download the result as JSON or CSV.

Try it on a real page

This runs an actual scrape against the URL you give it, on the same engine the API uses. No key needed for the basics, and the page itself is not stored.

  • robots.txt is honored. If a site's robots.txt disallows the page, the demo will not fetch it. Paid plans can opt out after accepting the acceptable use policy.
  • Some sites are off limits. Our proxy network refuses banks, payment processors and some government services, on every plan.
  • Protected sites need a stronger route. Pages behind an anti-bot check usually need the premium or stealth proxy, or auto mode, which run on your own key.

  • The page as a browser saw it
Rendered in headless Chrome, so content that only exists after hydration is there.
  • Or clean text and markdown
Navigation, cookie banners and footers stripped.
  • Or JSON you defined
CSS or XPath selectors in extract_rules.
  • The target's real status
Plus the resolved URL and the exact credit cost.
  • Nothing, if it failed
A failed fetch is never billed.

From scan to integration

Everything the scanner does is one call to the API, so a scan you like becomes code without changes: quick start, extract_rules, SDKs for JavaScript, Python and PHP. For search engine results, use the search tools or the Search API.
