Free account
1,000 credits to start, which is 200 rendered pages or 1,000 raw fetches, then 250 more every month, banking up to 1,000. A key you can rotate. No card.
ScrapingBee's 1,000 credits are a one-time trial; ours keep coming for as long as the account exists. Upgrade from your key portal and you keep your key. A paid plan starts its own allowance, so the free balance doesn't carry over when you upgrade. Cancel a plan and your key drops back to the free tier when the paid period ends, starting again at 1,000 credits.
Free capacity is best effort. When paid traffic is heavy, a free request can get
a 503 asking you to retry in about 30 seconds. It costs nothing, and
paid plans are never held back to make room for free traffic.
We send a six-digit code to confirm your address. That is the entire signup.
Have a promo code?
Enter it at signup for 500 bonus credits on top of your starting balance. Bonus credits are one-time rather than recurring, they are spent only once the free balance runs out, and they never expire.
Why a key is required
There is no keyless tier. Rate limiting alone does not hold against a large address pool, and an anonymous endpoint leaves nobody to act against when it is abused. ScrapingBee requires an account and a confirmed email for the same reason. You can still watch it work on the home page before signing up.
Price lock, for life
The price you sign up at is the price you keep. For as long as your payment method stays active and the subscription does not lapse, a later price rise does not touch you, on any plan.
Your locked price is shown in your key portal. Canceling, or leaving a failed payment unfixed for 72 hours, ends the lock, and rejoining is at the price of the day.

Questions
What does one credit buy?
A request without JavaScript rendering costs 1 credit. With rendering it costs 5. A premium proxy costs 10, or 25 with rendering. These are the same numbers ScrapingBee charges, so your per-call arithmetic does not change.
Do failed requests cost credits?
No. Only a successful call is charged. There is no refund step because a failure is never billed.
Is the price really locked?
Yes. The price you sign up at is the price you keep, for as long as the subscription does not lapse and the payment method stays active. If the public price rises later, yours does not. Cancel, or leave a failed payment unfixed for 72 hours, and the lock goes with it.
