Acceptable use policy

What you may not do

• Send traffic at a rate that degrades the target. Per-key and per-domain caps are enforced, and working around them is a breach in itself.
• Collect personal data you have no lawful basis to process, or scrape material behind a login you are not authorized to use.
• Bypass a paywall, a license, or a technical protection measure.
• Copy a site wholesale to republish it.
• Target the same host from many keys to defeat a per-key limit.
• Use the service against critical infrastructure, or to support harassment, stalking, doxxing or credential stuffing.
• Resell raw access in a way that hides who is responsible for the traffic.

robots.txt

Every request honors the target's robots.txt by default. Opting out with respect_robots=false requires an account, requires this policy to be accepted on that key, and is logged per request. Opting out does not create permission you did not otherwise have; it moves the responsibility to you.

What we do

• Refuse any request that resolves to a private, loopback, link-local or otherwise reserved address, and re-check on every redirect.
• Cap concurrent requests per key and requests per target host, both per key and across all callers.
• Keep a blocklist of hosts and networks the service will not fetch.
• Log every request with its key, target host and outcome.

Reporting abuse

If traffic from this service is hitting a site you run, tell us and we will act against the responsible key. Include the target host, timestamps with a timezone, and a sample of the requests.

To have your site excluded from this service entirely, ask. We will add it to the blocklist and it will be refused for every customer.

Enforcement

A breach suspends the key. A serious or repeated breach ends the account without a refund for the remainder of the period. We do not need to warn you first, and we will cooperate with a lawful request about traffic that came from this service.
